Okay I think I may be back in business with the blogging thing. Forgot my password and then I haven't been able to get in. So I'm back in Calgary and had Keri walk me through the steps again. So I need to go back and let you know what is new!

So here are the boys at Halloween, Logan is a vampire and Carter is a ghost. It was a lot of fun this year. Carter even allowed me to put makeup on his face!! I think he is hooked, loved the fact that he can go door to door and get candy. He ran to every house and kept saying 'Two more houses!' They got a pile of loot. We are still going through it and works a great bribe for them to eat their supper.

The next day Mark and I got away FINALLY after eight years! Mark's parents came up to watch the boys and we went to Las Vegas for the weekend. It was a really good time. We got very sore feet and legs from all the walking. Everyone kept telling us to take the monorail, but as the greenhorns that we were, we looked down the strip and thought 'that doesn't look that far away' and started walking. Huge mistake. We soon found our way to the monorail.

We took in the live Vegas version of the Price is Right, Mystere, the Bodies exhibit, and the dolphins and tigers at the Mirage. We also did the gambling thing. I kept saying that Mark had an affair on me with a wheel of fortune slot machine! He would go down to the casino while I showered and such and he would come back with a ticket from the machine showing how much he had won! The first morning he won about $255 and then the next morning he won $350! We had no trouble spending their money..... we also gave some of it back.

The pictures are of us waiting in line for the Price is Right (the name tags are just like the originals), the view from our hotel room (the Monte Carlo) and the view from the walk way from the MGM to New York New York. We would like to go back, possibly with another couple. It is nice to say that we have been there, but there is no hurry to go back. I think the next trip will include the hot sun and sandy beaches.

We haven't really been up to much more. The month of November had all of us sick. A trip to the emergency with Logan having croup, and many trips to walk-in getting antibiotics and then back for stronger antibiotics with Carter. Logan also took a tumble off the playground at school and landed face first into the gravel. Carter then told everyone that Logan hurt the rocks at school with his face! Only brothers could tell stories like that.

And now we are into December! I cannot believe how quick he time is going by. We have two more weekends before Jolly old Saint Nick appears. WOW. The boys are excited, Carter has been asking every morning if Santa has come yet. We haven't taken them to see Santa at the mall yet, that always proves to be exciting. Carter saw the picture from last year and he is screaming and reaching for us. Hopefully this year will be different.

We have been making chocolates for the past six or seven years, either to give away or have all to ourselves. This year Carter got right into it with his Dad. I liked the chocolate on the end if his nose.

Like I mentioned at the beginning we are here in Calgary for the weekend. Mark was coming up to help a friend pick out a truck at an auction so I thought it would be fun to come too! Keri and I are about to brave the malls 3 weekends before Christmas.

I will do my best to continue with the blogging. If not, I'll get to it the next time we come to Calgary!

Totally cute photo.
You are such a great writer. If you are like me, and you don't have time to scrapbook, there is a great program called blogbook that i can send you the link to. It sucks all the posts out of your blog and puts them in a cool book! It's like a journal of your life, with photos! And not cutting or glueing or stickers.
