One Good Thing......

With the return of winter around here we were able to get out and do some tobogganing! Can't believe the amount of snow that did fall. Last week was starting to feel like Spring.....and now this. Oh well.....we had a fun afternoon.

After Mark let the boys go......we both watched as they piled right into a bush! It was a pretty spectacular wipe-out.
(The bush is the one to the right of Logan.)

Here they are walking back up..........

And then this is how Carter looked up close!

I was surprised that the glasses didn't break!
They both asked if we can go back next weekend.

Catch up with 10 on Tuesday!

  1. I have a sneaking suspicion that 2010 is going to fly by! January is half over already! It also reminds me that I never posted any pictures from Christmas (which seems like months ago already). So I need to show off my handsome boys first thing.

2. This is what the boys woke up to on Christmas morning! This year we were supposed to down size........clearly that doesn't look like it to me!

3. One of the gifts that the boys got from Santa were Nerf guns that shot mini darts. Of course everyone had fun shooting the foam bullets. Grandpa got involved and had a little shoot out with Carter.........clearly, as you will see, Carter just may have won this round! Very funny stuff.

4. For New Years we headed to Calgary to visit with Keri and family and to meet baby Maguire. It was a short visit but it was nice to just chill out. Sadly we never even made it close to Midnight. Jak had a great time chasing his cousins around and my boys had a great time playing Uncle Nick's video games!

5. We only stayed for a short visit in Calgary, because we had to come back so Logan could play with his team during the first intermission of the Tigers game. These little guys get a chance to play in front of thousands of people and show off what they can do! I did videotape it but have no clue how - or if I can - download it. I was shocked at how big the Tiger players were compared to Logan and his team! Just what I have to look forward too.

6. This is for Auntie........the boys got a cool craft mailed to them and will continue to get one every month for a few months. Once they saw that the mail was for them, they ripped into it and had to get to work immediately. Here they are hard at work and then the final product.

7. Logan would have to be my 'outdoor' kid. Once it warmed up a bit he couldn't wait to get into the backyard. This was his masterpiece!

8. On Saturday the Olympic torch made it into Medicine Hat. They had a big celebration at the Teepee, but that didn't excite us all that much, so we went and waited on the side of the road where the torch would pass us. It was a bit disappointing when it finally did pass us and the person holding it was riding in a cart of some sort. The picture is hard to see.......but it is there!

9. Today the phone rings as I was just about ready to leave the house. I look at the caller ID and see that it is the school. I immediately hold my breath.......who's sick? It was the teacher's aid from Logan's class calling, letting me know that Logan is in a lot of pain from his loose tooth. Seriously, this tooth has been hanging by a thread for a couple days now. Logan gets on the phone and he is crying asking to come home. Poor kid. I go get him, get him home, gave him some medicine, and I pulled it out. Instantly, problem solved! He was back to his old self. Thank goodness......when I first saw him in his classroom he even looked green. He has had a lot of fun sticking his tongue in the big hole in his head!
10. I started running. Keep in mind I haven't ran since High School. My end goal is to run the half marathon in Vegas on December 5th. Good thing I have 11 months......I am currently doing week 2 over again in my workout! Could be a l-o-n-g 24 weeks. Wish me luck!
