The long weekend in May brings the Blossom Festival in Creston. Saturday morning Grandma wanted to take the boys to the parade. Here they are grabbing as much candy as they can. Logan held his own, Carter had a little help from his friend Susie. She even walked out in front of a large tow truck to grab candy!
After the parade we went to Grandma & Grandpa Spagis's house for the annual post parade lunch. Susie and Grandma then took the boys to the high school gym were they had some 'kidapoluza'. They got to get their faces painted, make sunglasses/hats and puppets. They had fun! Logan looks like a mini Elton John with his duds on.
Carter wanted Batman. Boy did he get it! I had a heck of a time washing it off.
This was after the first wash........
And this is after the second wash! It didn't come off until bath time when I had to apply a lot of soap.....and some how keep it out of his eyes.

great photos! wow...i wouldn't have thought black face paint was that disastrous...if you had told me, i would have thought you were exaggerating...but MY GOODNESS that is messy!

Ummm...what's painted on Logan's face?? The paint colour is a bit icky.
