I need to mention that the school did end up talking with kids in the school yesterday. Logan wasn't a good source! I talked with other parents today and found out that their kids heard and understood what the principle talked about relating to Mr. Fritske. Still, Logan told me today that he is sure that nothing was said to his class. He said that his class left right after the movie so maybe they missed the talk. The Medicine Hat newspaper wrote an article today that the teachers had a talk with the kids about what was happening with Mr. Fritske and then they purposely put on the footage of the inauguration to distract them. We now realized that it totally worked with Logan! (He must get that from his dad!! :o) )

hahahaaaa!
You crack me up (about the distraction part only.) the rest of it is so very very sad.
did these things happen when we were little?
parenting is so tough nowadays.
good thing you are soooo good at it!!!
you handled this so well Kristi. I might have driven to that mans house and shot his junk off.
Probably a good thing that Logan only remembers the good stuff!
Everyone at work loved the Obama story!
One little girl in grade one said "Mrs. Brock, I saw that brown man on TV. But I met the mayor of Creston, Mr. Tonka." Mrs. Brock told her that the man on TV was the new president and that our mayor was Mr. Toyota. She replied, "It is one of those truck names!"
